Recent News January 2008 - HB 7 is currently in the Health subcommittee of the Ohio House of Representatives. This House Bill would reform Ohio's outdated system of adoption record access to allow any adoptee, adoptive parent, and lineal descendant of an adoptee over the age of 18 to access the unamended birth certificate of the adoptee, similar to the system that pre 1964 adoptees currently enjoy in this state.
