We have added information about the change of Ohio adoption law for persons adopted between 1-1-1964 and 9-18-1996. This important legal change now allows adoptees and their lineal descendants to have access to the their unamended birth certificates. Click on the link to the right to learn more!

What We Do

Reunite of Ohio is a support organization for all members of the adoption triad.

Reunite of Ohio is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Adoption Searches

Unfortunately, our group is no longer able to provide search services to the members of the triad, owing to the difficulty in mainaining a volunteer base. However, the good news is that the information that was previously unavailable to adoptees has largely been made available via such things as social media, DNA services, and the change in adoption law in the state of Ohio. Please browse our site pages for more information!

Meeting Schedule

Reunite of Ohio no longer has regularly scheduled support group meetings, owing to the time commitments involved from the volunteers that run the meetings and the lack of a stable location in which to hold the meetings.

However, members of the Reunite of Ohio organization are available for participation in private one-on-one meetings, as well as more public forums (such as lectures and panel discussions) on the subject of adoption search and support.

Reunite of Ohio is now an online-only organization, owing to the costs of maintaining phone lines, post office drops, and other office functions. This allows us to serve all members of the adoption triad with very little overhead, which means that your donations to Reunite of Ohio will always be used to help others in need of our services.
